THE ADVOCACY
WHAT IS THIS FOR
A Community Fun Run for Rabies Prevention and Environmental Protection
Paws and Planet is a community event that brings together pet lovers, animal welfare advocates, environmentalists, and the general public for a day of fun, learning, and compassion for our furry friends and for our planet.
This event will feature:

A Fun Run with Pets (1K, 2.5K, 5K categories)

A Trade Fair showcasing pet food, accessories, and health products
-
Free Veterinary Services (anti-rabies vaccination, checkups)
-
Awareness campaign on Responsible Pet Ownership and Animal Rights, as well as on the Reduction of Carbon Footprint and Environmental Protection.
Each registered runner for Paws and Planet has the option to choose whether they are running for the planet where they are guaranteed that a bamboo will be planted in his/her name or for paws where their contribution will help support an animal rescue shelter (Furfect Shelter) and the vet missions being conducted by KAMAI in different parts of Pampanga.
Join us on June 13, 2026, for a half-day of fun run with or without pets, a trade fair showcasing pet food, accessories, and health products, free veterinary services, and an awareness campaign on responsible pet ownership and animal rights and rabies prevention as well as carbon footprint reduction and environmental protection.

THE INFO
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
During the Run:
1. Participants are encouraged to wear the race shirt during the fun run.
2. Participants must wear the racebib during the fun run. NO RACEBIB, NO ENTITLEMENTS. Participants not wearing a Bib Number shall be taken off the course by our Race Marshals.
3. Participants should retire from the race immediately if required to do so by any official, medical staff, race director, or race marshal.
4. Participants who did not commence on the actual start of their race will be disqualified.
5. "Gun Start" will be considered to determine the winners.
6. All winners must be physically present to receive their rewards during the awarding ceremony.
7. Organizers have the right to forfeit the award in case of physical absence.
8. No changing of sizes for the Race Shirt upon claiming. It will be on a reservation thru online registration or first-come-first-serve basis.
9. No changing of race category onsite.
10. Registration is non-refundable and non-transferable.
11. No refund policy. In case of postponement due to acts of God, the event schedule may or may not be moved depending on the availability of the venue.
12. Race route may be subject to changes for safety and traffic reasons.
13. The organizers reserve the right to use any photographs, videos, or any media records.
14. Organizers and Megaworld are not accountable for any loss or damage within the vicinity.
For Runners with Pet
1. One pet per person is allowed to join.
2. The owner/runner may run alongside his/her dog in short leash or his/her cat being carried by him/her or in a stroller.
3. Large breed dog must wear a muzzle during the duration of the run and while at the event site.
4. Participating pets must be current on vaccinations, at least 6 months of age, not in heat/season, and in good physical condition.
5. The pet owner shall be responsible for cleaning up after his/her own pet and for any injury/ies that his/her pet might cause to another person or pet while at the event site.
6. Pet owner shall be responsible to keep his/her own pet hydrated; water and cups are available at the pet station.
7. Organizers and Megaworld will not be liable for any injury, illness, or death of the pet and/or caused by the pet resulting from or occurring during participation in the fun run.
